Excellent infogram thingy from a site worthy of note. Feministing.com includes features such as ‘Victim Blaming’ (e.g when Texas defence prosecutor compared an 11 year old girl gang raped by 20 men, to a ‘spider’ inviting flies into her web) and articles that actually include the word ‘fuck’ in the title (Friday Feminist: Fuck you Hunter Moore – an article truly worth reading). This one is comparatively light and frothy, even if out of 100 or so euphemisms, only 6 are in the only positive category ‘your vagina is awesome’. That means 94% of vagina names are critical, gross or just plain derogatory. (I did that calculation without a calculator…impressive eh?)
